Philadelphia Eagles
The amount of talent on this team is absurd there is no real weakness on this roster and if there is it’s blanketed because they have young talent across the board that they can easily develop to take over those positions. This team is probably one of the best rosters I’ve seen on madden to start with in a long time. Not only to add onto that they also start with three picks in the 60s which just helps this team get even more stacked with youth. There is no rebuild with this team just five long years of dominance.
Kansas City Chiefs
This is another team that’s pretty much loaded everywhere on paper besides a few positions except they have the best Quarterback in the game on their side. They have one of the best offensive lines in the game and a bunch of young talent in skilled positions that can develop into even more beasts. This team is really nasty in the right user.
Cincinatti Bengals
I didn’t think I’d have the bengals this high on my list but once you take a look at their roster they made massive improvements to their defense you’ll see why. Although they lost Jessie Bates they still have the young physical star in Daxton Hill to take his place and not only to add onto that they brought in rookies cornerback DJ Turner with 98 speed on the outside and edge rusher Myles Murphy with 88 speed this team that they can mix in with all their other top players this team will be hard to stop. Don’t even forget they have a quarterback with the best 1-2 combos for abilities in Joe Burrow with set feet lead and fearless. Good luck stopping this team on offense and beating them on defense
Baltimore Ravens
This Ravens defense is insane and has abilities across the board for this roster. I feel like this roster this year is one of the few teams where you could set your controller down for a couple plays and they’d still make plays on defense for you. If you can just keep your guys in the right spots you won’t have a problem at all playing defense for this team and with their offense they have one of the most madden players ever in Lamar Jackson. This team thrives on their ability to play fast and hard and you can definitely see that in all of their player ratings.
Dallas Cowboys
How could I not add cowboys to the list? The players rating guy for madden is a d*** cowboys fan and always boost their ratings up a little bit. This team is another defensive beast that literally could put their controller down and they’ll get instant pass rush from micah parson and demarcus lawrence. Or they’ll be able to get random interceptions because both of their defensive backs have acrobat. I for one am happy I don’t have to match up against this team season one because I hope they’ll lose some abilities on their defense before we gotta see them.

I am going to be ignoring all QB velocity abilties, because if I did, all the teams with those quarterbacks would be at the top.

Ravens, the Ravens are not the madden powerhouse they once were, but they are still a top 5 team. Their ranking is mainly based off of Lamar Jackson and the unique skillset that he brings. With the way that the run game looks this year and the QB scrambling Lamar should be a problem to deal with. The receivers are solid and can be built up more, the oline is good. The defense is not great outside of Roquan Smith and Marlon Humphrey, but also have players like Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo that could be built up well.
Bengals, the Bengals have a top tier QB, elite weapons on offense, and a fast young secondary that can grow quickly. Myles Murphy is a nice young edge to have. The main draw for this team is the offense. You have Joe Burrow for all 5 seasons, Jamarr Chase for all 5 seasons, and I have to guess that Tee Higgins will be there the whole time as well. Mixon can be moved to free up cap space.
Jets, This Jets team is young and talented. They might only need to add maybe two starters the whole cycle on this side of the ball and will still have an elite defense the whole time. The offense is good outside of the offensive line, but that can be built. By the time Rodgers retires the receivers will be built up enough to support whoever the new QB is
Cowboys, The Cowboys have top tier players at nearly every level of their team. Dak is a top 10 QB, Tony Pollard can be a franchise RB, Ceedee Lamb is a franchise WR, you have a top two offensive line. Micah Parsons may be the best defender in madden. Diggs is a superstar corner. The team is stacked top to bottom.
Eagles, The Eagles may be the best starting madden team of all time. An XF QB, who cares about RB, and elite WR core, the best offensive line in the league, a very fast tight end, an extremly deep but also young defensive line, fast linebackers, an aging secondary that also has some younger players that can step in. The Eagles are a slightly better version of the Eagles, but also have younger pieces to last the whole cycle as well.

Bubba:
Dallas Cowboys- The Cowboys have possibly the best defensive player in the game, and 2 SS corners on defense. And then on offense a XF QB, WR, OL and possibly TP with abilities as well. The cowboys always seem to have an OP team in madden, and this is is no exception.
Baltimore Ravens- This one is pretty obvious. If you get the opportunity to use Lamar Jackson for a cycle, you take it and run, and run, and keep running. Lamar has like 96 speed, and Keraun gave you the blueprint last cycle to be a dominant team for the entire cycle. Plus additions if OBJ and Zay Flowers really adds talent to the WR core.
Eagles- This roster is the most talented roster in madden, and I don’t think there’s much debate. On Offense you have a top 3 OL, with some abilities, AJ Brown, Swift, Geodert and if course SS Hurts. This team is near impossible to stop on the ground, and if you can pass the ball this team is a nightmare to play. Defensively there’s a mix of to end vets, and young studs with glitchy stats. This is definitely the go defense in the game both right now and for the cycle.
Falcons- This team is more of a rebuild for PML, but they already have done all the hard work in acquiring talent. Bijan, Pitts and London are enough on offense to build around the entire cycle. On defense they have a couple of very solid DBs and LBs, plus Grady Jarrett with inside stuff makes this team dangerous even while going thru a rebuild.
Buffalo Bills- This one should come as no surprise, hometown team, cover boy, and elite roster combined, this is my #1 team in M24. The roster is far from perfect, coming in at the 4th oldest roster in the NFL, but they have all the talent where it matters, QB, WR, Pass Rush, and DB. Theres a couple hidden gems on the roster like 6’7 Edge Greg Rousseau, or 6’5 rookie Justin Shorter. Also this team is future 2024 Super Bowl champions so that’s gotta be good luck

Fallen:
Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles start out with 9 superstar/x-factor players and if that isn’t reason enough to have them at the top of this list, then I don’t know what would be. The Eagles have almost every position covered, aside from the safeties and they still aren’t even that bad. Reed Blankenship is a 74 overall with 87 speed, Sydney Brown is a 73 overall with 90 speed, but Terrell Edmunds is a 79 overall with 90 speed and he is eligible to play sub linebacker. You must thank your lucky stars as the coach of this team because they are primed and ready to win multiple super bowls.
Miami Dolphins – I know the injuries are piling up for the Dolphins, but honestly, the heart of this team is the amount of speed on it. They have two 95 speed halfbacks separated by 10 years apart, but De’von Achane has the potential to be a starting halfback out the gate. Tyreek has 99 speed and Waddle has 98 speed, just how do you cover all that speed? Be very careful blitzing against this offense. The other positions are above average too, with few holes except for the defensive tackle position.
Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens and the Bills are tied for having the most (6) 90+ rated players starting out in the league. Lamar Jackson is the fastest quarterback in the league and he is extremely versatile and his contract is staggered, but in season 4 and 5, he is owed $74.5M per season. The biggest drawback for the Ravens is the halfback position. There’s a lack of speed, but I fully expect Lamar to be a leading rusher for the team.
Dallas Cowboys – The Cowboys have 5 players at 90+ overall starting out and 6 superstar/x-factor players. The loss of Elliot in the off-season will not be felt at all because Tony Pollard is 88 overall and has 93 speed and 95 acceleration. Micah Parsons is going to singlehandedly win games for this team with his 92 speed and “Edge Threat” ability coming off the edge. The linebacker position is thin, but the Cowboys are the only team in the league with two corners starting out with the “Acrobat” ability. The “Acrobat” ability is one of the most coveted in the game and most users go out of their way to throw away from those defenders. Defense is going to be a bit easier for the Cowboys coach this madden.
Arizona Cardinals – Hear me out, I know the Cardinals roster is in very rough shape, especially with Kyler Murray on the sidelines for the first 8 games of the season BUT this team is loaded on draft capital. For CFM sake, this team can be overhauled and turned around after one draft. The Cardinals have 2 firsts, 1 second, 3 thirds, 1 4th, 2 fifths, and 1 seventh. Marquise Brown and Rondale Morre are shining lights to build an offense around. Second year tight end Trey Mcbride has elite capability if you invest in him, especially at 6’4” with 87 speed. Owen Pappoe has 93 speed and 95 acceleration with 86 hit power, he’s fast that half of the wide receivers in the league and a prime candidate to sure up the middle of the field, especially as a user defender. Budda Baker rounds out as the team’s best player, but the real goldmine of this team is their draft picks, and if done right, the Cardinals can be competitive starting out in season 2.

The Bengals have Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase enough said, but I will say more. They also have players that can become sneaky good like dbs Daxton Hill and Jordan battle. they also have a 97 speed rookie cornerback named DJ Turner. If they are built right , it will be scary bengals team again.
Ravens
You know, I know so much about these ravens Lamar Jackson is still there and 96 speed JK Dobbins, unlike in real life will be healthy and great but now the ravens have receivers Odell Beckham, Junior and Zay flowers. The best part of the ravens is a Young defenders in the front 7 of the defense . Ojabo Oweh Simpson and if that wasn’t enough they have the best sub lb in the game Kyle Hamilton .
cowboys
We all know the developers of madden love those Dallas Cowboys and they show it every year. Dak Prescott is still a superstar quarterback Tony Pollard is an 88 overall running back with 93 speed and 95 acceleration cd lamb is still a superstar WR and they bolster one of the best offensive lines in the game. Defensively DeMarcus Lawrence is so freakin nice , but we all know the best player on the team is Michael Parsons, and he is an unstoppable force if you know what I mean. If you thought that was enough they have two Acrobat corners. My goodness you can argue them being number one surely .
Dolphins
There is a case that the Cowboys are better than the Dolphins, but I put dolphins at number two because of one reason spead . speed speed speed ! Tyreek Hill and Jaylen waddle are the ultimate weapons, Raheem, Mostert, and Devon Chaney are the fastest running backs in the game and now the offense is led by an upgraded Qb in 83 overall Tua Tagovailoa. defensively they have great pieces like Jalen Ramsey, Christian Wilkson , but they also have great young pieces in Jalen Phillips and Jevon Holland. This team is a dream.
Eagles
What is there not to absolutely love about the eagles ? Let’s start at the top you got jalen hurts . Not that old madden jalen hurts . That new new walking around at 89 overall with fast break and gunslinger . Straight weapon . Aj brown, Devonta smith, quez Watkins and Dallas goadert may be the best receiving corps in the game. A stout offensive line. And it arguably gets even better on the other side of the ball with Hassan Reddick, Josh sweat, Fletcher Cox, Darious slay and James Bradberrry . This team is loaded the with win now players but the best part is the young talent in jalen Carter, kelee Ringo, and Nolan Smith I’m so jealous . They are easily the best starting cfm team in madden .
