How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
This loss hits hard man.. we finally felt like the team was building steam.. and losing again against a divisional rival never feels good. All we can do is take this film and bounce back against a top team in the league the packers hopefully we can bounce back against them. They have a top rushing offense and a very impressive defense. I think we are able to put some good film up against them to show that we are a legit team.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Panthers last week?
The Panthers are an impressive squad negating all the rumours against them. We got lucky because they didn't have their starting QB due to injury. Was very impressed by how clean of a game we played of offense hopefully we can turn it around on defense and create more stops there's no reason we should be letting this much points up especially when we are playing good on offense. We have to make the game easier for both sides of ball and the Panthers help make us realize that.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Kyle Pitts?
Can you even prepare for a player like that? You can't put a line backer on him because they can't match his routes. You can't put a safety on him because they don't match his height or physicals so what can you do? Double him?? While you have to cover Waddle on the outside and look for Bijan in the backfield.. Not to mention Drake London. It's a tough task that we are going to have to learn to deal with. Hopefully soon because we play them twice a year.
RB Rachaad White is so impressive, how hard he runs is so apparent. What else about his skill set makes him special?
Earlier in the season at my mistake we didn't give him the ball enough.. Now that we are finally giving him enough touches he's proving to us that we made a huge mistake! Maybe if we included him in our plans earlier in the season we wouldn't be in this spot. That's on me as a coach and I owe him the most sincerest of apologies. The guy is a baller and I need to keep giving him touches.
