How quickly can you tell if a young player is a football player if he thinks about it because it seems like at the Combine they’re all saying the right thing and it’s the job. How quickly does it take?
No idea. But we know if these young guys can get a bunch of significant snaps during the regular season that over the course of time something will click in their heads and they will become the player we know they are.
How valuable is the self-scouting process that you go through during the Bye Week? There's the physical piece, but also that component, as well.
It's major you know you gotta be able to analyze all your weaknesses and strengths to be able to draw up a really good gameplan. if you can't do that you don't belong here.
